The Ouzoud Falls drop more than a hundred metres into a green gorge in the Middle Atlas, and they are an easy day from Marrakech. A footpath winds down through olive terraces, past troops of wild Barbary macaques, to the pools at the base, where small boats nudge you toward the falling water — then it is back up to a terrace for a slow lunch over the falls.
